Elevation Robotics General Fund

Every dollar donated to the Elevation Robotics General Fund goes directly toward furthering our mission — expanding access to competitive robotics and STEM education for K–12 students across Colorado. Our Board of Directors carefully allocates these funds across our five programs to maximize community impact: competition hosting, equipment lending, team grants, coach training, and free educational resources.

As a recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 41-4473705), your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. No goods or services are provided in exchange for donations to the General Fund.

Your Impact

How Donations Support Our Programs

Every contribution goes directly to advancing our educational mission. Here is how our resources are allocated across our five programs:

Competition Hosting

Your support helps us cover event venue costs, purchase and maintain competition equipment, train volunteers, and keep registration fees affordable for all Colorado teams.

Equipment Lending

Help us build and maintain an inventory of competition field elements and scoring systems that schools and teams can borrow at no charge — removing a major cost barrier to participation.

20%

Team Grants

Every grant we award puts a team on the field that might otherwise not be able to afford registration fees, robot parts, or supplies. Priority goes to Title I schools and high-need communities.

Coach & Team Training

Support free in-person and virtual workshops that give coaches and students the knowledge and confidence to build successful programs — especially coaches who are starting from scratch.

Free Educational Resources

Help us create and distribute free guides, tutorials, and templates that any team or educator can access — leveling the playing field for students everywhere.

How We Are Funded

Revenue Sources

Registration Fees

Teams pay registration fees to participate in competitions hosted by Elevation Robotics. Fees are set to cover a portion of direct event costs.

Corporate Sponsorships

Local and national companies sponsor our events and programs. Sponsorships may be directed to specific programs or provided as general operating support.

Foundation Grants

We seek grant funding from private foundations and community foundations to support our programs, particularly our equipment lending and team grant programs.

Individual Donations

Individuals who want to support STEM education in Colorado can contribute to our operating budget. All donations are used to advance our charitable and educational mission.

For Organizations

Corporate and foundation partners play a critical role in funding our programs. Sponsorship opportunities exist at multiple levels and may support specific programs (such as team grants or equipment lending) or our general operations.
